available at one's fingertips on the web. Some good. Some less than
good. How to pick and choose? The links suggested in this section are by no
means an exhaustive listing of what is available out there. How were
they chosen?
By going to reputable sources with proven track
records. Although there is good information available from various
vendors, as a commercial free site those links are not included.
It should get you started in the right
direction. If you are charting new territory for yourself here, there
will be quite a bit of food for thought.
Animal welfare is like anything else in the
world. There are people and groups who hold on to "the way it has always
been done" and may never be comfortable outside of that zone. Then there
are others whose compassion has compelled them to find more humane
paths.
The wonderful thing about information is that it allows us to make
informed decisions. Will it always make us comfortable? Not if it makes
us think.
So ... whether you are interested in information to help you:
