if you either lose your own pet or find somebody else's:
What a great idea! These groups are very proactive and have helped
reunite many owners and pets!
How does it work? Every time that a pet is listed ... or an update
is posted ... everyone in the network sees in their News Feeds. They
share ... their friends share .. and the word gets around!
There are even printable posters available for pet owners and their
friends to plaster everywhere
Both groups are run by volunteers who realized the potential after
seeing the success rates for individuals who set up facebook groups to
help find their pets.
